Q:Volkswagen Jetta 04/2019 USA couldn’t add a key with VVDI2. Autodetect KOMBI 17A920840A version 252 2700 type MQB-NEC35xx. When reading eeprom appears a window: *The current dashboard is not the selected type!*, the same problem as Seat ateca 2018.
The key is MQB48.
Connected VAG OBD Helper, he also identified type MB-NEC35xx (however, the service does not work and asks to try in 24 hours)
I found the answer to my question:
2018 seat ateca will be a 5C dash. Autodetect chooses wrong dash. Read id of existing key and check if it’s hitag or megamos. Xhorse VVDI2 won’t work on this car without online immo data calculation (Vag helper no longer works for seat).
For some MQB49, Xhorse VVDI2 can generate successfully, but need the original key.
Question: How can I get immo data without OBD Helper?
Please find someone to obtain the immo data firstly.
